  1. Q

    Is there a dress code?

    A

We do have a no shirt, no shoes, no show policy. While many theatre-goers prefer to dress up for the production, it is not an expectation and we want you to be comfortable as you will be sitting for a couple hours.
  2. Q

How do I know if a show is appropriate for my child or teen?

    A

While we do not have age restrictions for our shows, if a production deals with mature issues, you will find a Parental Advisement about those issues. If you need more guidance or information, please do not hesitate to Contact Us.
  3. Q

    When can I buy tickets?

    A

For most events, tickets will be available for purchase two weeks prior to the first performance.
  4. Q

    When should I arrive?

    A

If you already have your tickets, we ask that you arrive 15 minutes prior to the show. If you need to purchase tickets, please arrive 30 minutes prior to the show.
  5. Q

Can I use my camera/phone/tablet during the show?

    A

No. Using devices disrupts the cast and those around you. We would ask that you turn off your devices and keep them stowed away during the show. Absolutely no photography is allowed during the performance.
  6. Q

Can I bring in snacks or drinks?

    A

Each venue we perform at will have different policies on food and drinks in the theatre space. We do ask that you only bring in water, and purchase all other food and drinks through concessions to support Solace Theatre.
  7. Q

    What if I am late?

    A

If you are late to a performance, you may not be able to be seated immediately. An usher will let you know when it is an appropriate time to enter the theatre and will direct you to sit in the back to avoid disrupting the performance.

  1. Q

    Is there a dress code?

    A

There is no strict dress code, but we ask that you come to rehearsal able to move freely without being a distraction. We do advise that you talk to the Costume Designer about your costume and come dressed in attire similar.
  2. Q

What if I can't make it to auditions?

    A

Contact Us about either sending a video audition or auditioning early.
  3. Q

    Is there an age limit?

    A

Each production has different characters and will allow for different ages within the cast. Check out the production's Auditions Information page for more details to find out if a show is a good fit for you.
  4. Q

    Can I miss a rehearsal?

    A

At auditions, you will fill out a Conflict Calendar with any rehearsal dates you will not be able to make. If you are cast in a production, you will be excused from those rehearsals. If additional conflicts arise after casting, we ask that you prioritize rehearsal and not miss additional rehearsals.
  5. Q

What if I have an emergency?

    A

If you have an emergency and cannot make a rehearsal, please call your Assistant Director or Stage Manager immediately to explain the situation.
  6. Q

Do I need to provide my own costume?

    A

While we aim to provide entire costumes, we are still getting started. Thus, we may ask to borrow clothes from your wardrobe from time to time, but we will never require you to buy or provide anything. We do ask that you provide your own shoes, if you are able.
  7. Q

What if I am too young/old?

    A

If the current production's characters are younger or older than you can play, have no fear! You can bet that the next show will provide for actors that were outside of the age range of the current show.
